Linley Valley Pork is a premium product sourced and produced in Western Australia, where we have raised and processed the finest pork to supply to families in Australia and in international markets for more than 30 years.

Key responsibilities:

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
-
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on conveyors, chains, pumps, gearboxes and pneumatic system.

Perform basic welding, maintenance, and repair work without supervision
-
Carry out fabrication, installation and modification work as required
-
Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements
-
Carry out start-up and shutdown proceedings
-
Carry out major mechanical overhauls, refurbishments & repairs to equipment
-
Carry out precision fitting within fine precision tolerances relating to bearings, bushes and sleeves and other parts
About you:
-
A Mechanical Fitting trade certificate or equivalent
-
Working in confined space/gas
-
Forklift high risk license
-
Previous maintenance experience in a production environment
-
Understanding and knowledge of MEX - desired
-
A good understanding of root cause analysis
-
Ability to trouble shoot and work safely under pressure
-
Experience using Lathes, mills, pedestal drills, conveyors, compressors and pumps
