Full Job Description

Astrea is seeking a skilled and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our workshop in Terrey Hills, NSW. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic equipment
Perform routine servicing including oil changes, brake repairs, and general maintenance
Repair or replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering systems
Conduct vehicle inspections and testing following repairs
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workplace safety standards

Skills and Experience Required

Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Certificate III or higher or equivalent)
At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and time management skills
A current driver’s licence is preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
