Operations Manager
The opportunity
You will provide high-level operational leadership across our Home Services division, acting as a trusted partner to the General Manager in managing service delivery, performance, and strategic priorities.
This role requires someone who is exceptionally organised, proactive, and confident in navigating competing operational demands. You will oversee centralised service delivery functions including client intake and onboarding, workforce rostering and scheduling, and coordination of CHSP and Veterans’ Home Care services. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of services, maintaining workflow efficiency, and supporting a high-performing and responsive team.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will support the preparation of reports, operational insights, and performance metrics, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every step. Your judgement, professionalism, and ability to influence will be critical to ensuring strong workforce utilisation, service continuity, revenue capture, and a client-centred approach.
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in health, community services, business or management (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in operational leadership within aged care, home care or community services
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver on complex work requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing rostering, service coordination, and intake functions
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous service improvement and innovation in service delivery models
- Experience developing and implementing policy that guides service delivery and operational practices
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and use IT systems to improve service efficiency
- Ability to creatively influence and engage stakeholders to resolve challenges related to home-based service delivery
- Demonstrated capability in implementing WHS policies and procedures, ensuring safe work practices across all service areas
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
Desirable:
- Experience working within centralised service delivery models
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act and Support at Home reform changes
