As a Registered Nurse working in the Respiratory Medicine Outpatients Department, you will be supported to work across several clinical programs. Our department has a focus on respiratory programs such as:
- Respiratory coordinated care program
- Asthma services
- Pulmonary rehabilitation program
- Staff Immunisation services including occupational assessment and screening for new recruits, students and current staff
- Blood and body fluid exposure clinics
- TB service across the Illawarra

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division . Holds or willingness to work towards currency as an authorised nurse immuniser as per the requirements of NSW health PD 2015_011.
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
The temporary component is a parental leave relief position until 23 August 2027 with the possibility of an extension at same or reduced hours.
