About The Role:

Join a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and 2026 Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our ARC business.

Based at our Wollongong site and reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will join a high performing team as an Operator.

In this role, you’ll contribute to business success while gaining hands-on experience in steel processing and distribution. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment focused on achieving KPIs while maintaining a strong safety-first culture.

What you will be doing:

Operate machinery to shape and cut reinforcing bar
Operate an overhead crane
Accurately pick and pack orders
Load and unload trucks
Move trucks inside and outside of warehouse
Promote and contribute to a safe workplace

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday afternoon shifts from 1:50pm – 9:26pm.
The hourly EBA rate is $32.08/hr + 15% afternoon shift allowance.

What you will bring:

A willingness to learn new skills with a can-do attitude

Ability to deliver consistent results in a physically active role
Thrives in a team environment
Prior experience operating machinery
Overhead crane experience is preferred but not essential
HR Truck License is desirable
