bout The Role

e are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Life and Leisure Team Leader to join our Shoalhaven team. This role provides day-to-day guidance and support to Disability Support Workers ensuring high-quality and person-centred services that enhance the independence, inclusion and wellbeing of participants.

s Team Leader, you’ll oversee the delivery of NDIS supports, coordinate daily operations, maintain compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and build strong connections with families, carers and local community networks.

n This Role, You Will:

ead and support your team to deliver engaging, person-centred programs aligned with participant goals and NDIS plans.
M
odel and promote Greenacres’ values, fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
O
versee daily scheduling, attendance and documentation in Greenacres systems.
S
upport the Area Coordinator with staff coaching, on-the-job training and performance feedback.
B
uild strong, respectful relationships with participants, families and other service providers.
P
romote participant wellbeing, dignity and independence through meaningful leisure, recreation and life skills activities.
E
nsure compliance with Greenacres’ policies, the NDIS Practice Standards, and Work Health & Safety procedures.

bout You

ou are a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a people-focused environment. You bring strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of person-centred practice and the ability to coach and guide others to deliver quality outcomes.

ou Will Have:

ertificate III (or higher) in Individual Support – Disability, or equivalent experience/qualification.
D
emonstrated experience supporting people with disability in community or leisure settings.
S
trong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide, coach and motivate others.
S
ound knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred approaches.
C
urrent First Aid, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Driver’s Licence.
