To develop a district wide Person-Centred Safety and Quality Culture Framework for Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD. The Person-Centred Safety and Quality Framework will consolidate and strengthen current quality and safety initiatives into cohesive, integrated programs of work. It will provide a unifying structure to support the development, alignment and expansion of existing projects, promoting sustained person-centred cultures of safety and quality within nursing and across the organisation.

The framework will support values‑based, person‑centred care while embedding systematic, data‑driven approaches to understanding and improving everyday care delivery. It will enable consistent application across units, services and facilities, linking quality and safety data with staff and patient experience to improve outcomes.

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms. That’s 5,687 square kms of beautiful beaches, coastal cycling tracks, lush rainforests, incredible bushwalks and friendly people. This is a temporarily funded position until 27 June 2027 with the possibility of an extension subject to funding.
