In this role, you'll:
Help improve how we plan, resource and deliver work across the Aboriginal Outcomes portfolio. You’ll manage practical project management processes, clear governance, and effective ways of working to ensure projects run smoothly, transparently and with the right level of risk oversight. You’ll provide hands on support, coaching and tools across planning, reporting, change, risk and performance. Your work will help multidisciplinary teams deliver consistent, measurable and culturally informed outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
The Manager Aboriginal Outcomes Enablement will also be responsible for:
- Overseeing project status updates and tracking across all service streams to ensure clear, accurate reporting.
- Managing resourcing needs by monitoring internal systems and forecasting workloads to support timely project delivery.
- Support the Director and Senior Managers in the coordination and delivery of day-to-day operational activities, ensuring priorities are effectively managed, workflows are streamlined, and business objectives are met.
- Maintaining project management structures, including intake and triage processes, finance workflows and administrative support to enable smooth operations.
- Embedding project management systems and creating a central library of approved responses, briefs and templates to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Providing project assurance by supporting major projects, monitoring risks and performance, ensuring strong stakeholder communication, and coordinating high quality responses for Ministers, Peak bodies and partner agencies.
This is an ongoing full-time position located at Wollongong.
This role can be filled through remote working and can be based anywhere in New South Wales. This role requires in person attendance on particular days of the week at your local TfNSW office. There is regular statewide travel involved in this role.

About you
You are an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
You are experienced in setting up and running project or program governance, including managing risk, change, schedules, scope and reporting across complex environments with many stakeholders.
You’re confident in portfolio and resource planning, using project management tools to forecast, track and clearly communicate progress, risks and benefits.
You are someone who applies strong logical reasoning and negotiation skills to drive continuous process improvement, while building the capability of those around you.
You are emotionally intelligent, innovative, and skilled at recognising patterns that inform smart decisions.
You communicate effectively, think in systems, assess risks thoughtfully, and prioritise with confidence. You are committed to quality control and consistently deliver high standard outcomes through a strategic and considered approach.
You are skilled at engaging and influencing stakeholders, and you have a strong track record of coaching teams to improve delivery capability and adopt consistent ways of working.
You understand culturally informed practice, and you can ensure project delivery aligns with Aboriginal Outcomes priorities, policies and accountability requirements.
