Full Job Description

S Painting and Decorating pty Ltd

Based at Logan Reserve QLD 4133 Logan City

We are looking for a Qualified Painter and Supervisor for our company.

Experience Required

3 Year Minimum Experience

Position Full Time Ongoing

38 Hours Per week

Job duties and responsibilities,

Responsibilities,

Order Paint and materials
Checking fellow workers work
Finishing Work On Time
Following Australian Standard work
Must have trade Qualified

Duties,

Follow SWMS
Mange your fellow workers according to job
Check the job before starting
Taking doors,hinges ,Locks,and latches off
Prepping include Patching sanding, gaping, and masking ready for spray
Sprayout and seal to complete job including sealing and backrolling
Checking timber work for damage and repairs if needed
Sanding walls and ceiling and all frame work
Finish final coat for spray to ceiling and around architraves
Cutting around cornice
Chek architraves for gloss finish
Finish gloss to doors and frames
Put back doors
Finish stain work if needed
Finish rolling on walls
Put back all locks and latches
Clean all job after finishing remove all excess paint from
External work
Check for safety first
Check for scaffolding if doing highset
Use ladder and planks if needed
prep and finish evase
Gap and patch all cladding and weather if applicable
Finish render if applicable
You have to follow proper guidelines for safety and quality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $50.00 per hour

Education:

Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Experience:

Painting: 3 years (Required)

Language:

English (Required)

Licence/Certification:

White Card (Preferred)
Work Safely at Heights (Preferred)
Driver Licence (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

25% (Required)
