This is a permanent full-time position is based at our Wodonga Site Maintenance Facility in Northeast Victoria.
As a welder /Fabricator with Ron Finemore Transport you will join our professional fleet and maintenance team responsible for maintaining and repairing our modern heavy vehicle fleet and trailer equipment.
Relocation Support or a sign on bonus will be provided for the right applicant. (T&Cs Apply)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain welding equipment.
Understand plans and drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
Fabricating and repairing metal components and structures.
Produce clear and concise digital repair order reports, detailing all work carried out and recommendations in a prioritised order.
Provide support and mentor apprentice technicians.
Maintain safe work practices and high quality workmanship
About You:

Certificate 3, Trade certificate/qualification or equivalent
Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry
Experience maintaining heavy trailer equipment.
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a supportive team.
Current HC/HR driver’s license an advantage.
Pride in your work with an ability to work to targets and high standards.
High levels of motivation, dependable with a can-do, positive attitude
Effective communication skills with a commitment to workplace safety
