About the Opportunity
Fortress Collision Repair Services is currently seeking experienced Spray Painters to join our new state-of-the-art repair facility in Albury, NSW.
This role is primarily based in Albury; however, opportunities may also be available at other Fortress Collision Repair Services locations across the eastern states of Australia for suitable candidates.
These are full-time positions, with employment and contractor opportunities available for suitably experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking and priming
- Mix and apply automotive paint in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Carry out colour matching and blending to achieve high-quality finishes
- Perform refinishing work on repaired vehicles and replacement panels
- Maintain spray booths, equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition
- Identify and rectify paint defects where required
- Work collaboratively within production and workshop teams to meet repair deadlines
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualified Automotive Spray Painter or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within the collision repair industry preferred
- Experience in colour matching and refinishing techniques
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced workshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Salary
Salary range between AUD $80,000 – $120,000 per annum plus superannuation, dependent on skills and experience.
