About the Role
Are you a driven production leader with a passion for operational excellence and team success? We’re looking for a Production Manager to take the lead in shaping a high-performing, safety-first manufacturing environment and delivering outstanding results for our customers.
In this pivotal leadership position, you’ll oversee all aspects of precast production on site - empowering your team, optimising performance, and ensuring every product meets our high-quality standards. You’ll play a key role in delivering reliable outcomes, improving efficiency, and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & Inspire: Provide strong, hands-on leadership to production teams, fostering a positive, engaged, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Safety First: Champion a zero-harm environment by ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Plan for Success: Manage production capacity and scheduling to consistently meet customer delivery requirements.
- Deliver Quality: Drive excellence in product quality, minimise waste and rejects, and ensure accurate and timely quality documentation.
- Optimise Performance: Balance production outputs with budgets and forecasts to achieve efficient, cost-effective operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, productivity, and overall site performance.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in production or manufacturing leadership (precast or construction materials experience highly regarded).
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills with a results-driven mindset.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and performance targets.
