The Opportunity: We’re looking for Trainee & Experienced Concrete Field Testing Technicians to join our Wollongong team. No experience? No worries — we’ll train you.
You’ll be testing concrete samples, using testing equipment, and handling materials.
This role suits people who enjoy hands-on, active work, take safety seriously, and want a long-term career. The work can be physically demanding and includes regular lifting of 15–20kg.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Testing construction materials using lab equipment (Concrete Testing).
- Recording results and entering data into our systems
- Manual tasks including lifting (up to 20kg)
- 10-12 hr days - excellent $$ overtime opportunities
- Driving manual vehicle to construction sites for concrete testing
About You
- Keen to start a trade-style career or change direction
- Safety-focused and physically capable
- Reliable, practical and willing to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors, in quarries and dusty environments
- Flexible with early starts and Saturday work
- A current Australian driver’s licence (manual required)
- White Card (or willing to get one quickly)
- Australian or NZ citizenship or permanent residency
