The Role
We are looking for a Full time Assistant Practice Manager to join our amazing team in Charlestown, supporting the Practice Manager with the day-day general operations of running a busy multi-disciplinary medical centre.
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will manage a busy front desk reception area and ensure quality patient care whilst supporting out team of GP’s.

Your Responsibilities
As a vital first point of contact for our Medical Centre team, you will play a central role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Create a Patient-First Culture: Foster exceptional customer service that puts patients at the heart of everything we do.
- Championing administrative functions, such as filing, data entry, and assisting the Practice Manager with a variety of operational tasks as needed.
- Champion Operational Excellence: Identify challenges and lead continuous improvement initiatives that elevate clinic performance and patient outcomes.
- Lead & Develop Talent: Support the Practice Manager in driving onboarding, and ongoing training, building a skilled, motivated team ready to deliver their best.
- Accountability for Opening and closing of the Centre, ensuring all procedures are followed for a safe and efficient start and end to each day.
- Building and maintaining positive professional relationships with patients, medical staff, and fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
- Ensuring compliance with all organisational policies, procedures, and health regulations, upholding the highest standards of care and confidentiality.
- Performing general reception duties, including maintaining a clean and organised front desk, and ensuring a professional and supportive environment for all visitors.
