IGA moore park beach is a locally owned and operated supermarket committed to serving the community with fresh produce, pantryessentials, and specialty items. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming shopping experience while supporting local suppliers and maintaining strong community connections.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli assisant( opportunity go to manager )to oversee the daily operations of our store and lead our team to success.

Location: iga moore park beach

Employment Type: casual (leading to full term)

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. Establish product selection and define service expectations to meet local community needs including seasonal variations. Manage inventory, including purchasing, stock control, and minimizing wastage. Create purchasing and marketing strategies, prioritizing local products and fair pricing. Monitor and analyse financial performance, including budgets, revenue, and expenses. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve financial targets and profitability. Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to enhance sales and brand visibility. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to maintain a productive team environment. Build relationships with local suppliers, community members, and key stakeholders. Assist customers with product choices and provide helpful advice for their specific needs. Ensure high standards of customer service and address feedback and complaints effectively. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations within the store.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor level qualification 1-3 years of professional experience in food industry Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively. Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities to address challenges. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and retail operations.
