Summary

Looking for passionate DSWs in the Greater Adelaide, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Port Augusta, Riverland Regions

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance, including grooming, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and household tasks.
Support clients in community access and recreational activities.
Implement individualized care plans based on client needs.
Administer medications and provide therapy-based assistance as required.
Maintain detailed records and progress notes.
Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines and workplace safety regulations.
Collaborate with families, support coordinators, and healthcare professionals to improve client well-being.

Work Hours & Conditions:

Full-time position (minimum 38 hours per week).
Flexible roster, including morning, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.
Work may involve manual handling and lifting where required.
Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Essential Criteria:

At least 12 months of relevant work experience in disability support, aged care, or community care.
Cert III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or an equivalent qualification.
First Aid & CPR Certification (current).
Manual Handling Training (preferred).
NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Valid Australian Driver’s License and access to reliable transport.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, overnight shifts, and public holidays.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience supporting clients with high-care needs, mental health challenges, or complex behaviors.
Knowledge of NDIS processes and Positive Behavior Support (PBS).
