We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team in Whitton, NSW.
In this role, you will support the safe and efficient operation of our liquid fertiliser site by maintaining plant, equipment and infrastructure used in storage and distribution.
You’ll work closely with the site team to keep things running smoothly reducing downtime, responding to breakdowns and contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on site facilities and equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and support operations to minimise downtime
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is safe, compliant and operating effectively
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders
- Support contractor activities on site
- Assist with workshop, tools and spare parts management
- Contribute to a strong safety culture and maintain a zero-harm mindset
- Participate in site emergency response activities as required
The key skills required for this role include:
- Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical or related discipline
- Experience in a maintenance role within an industrial, manufacturing or agricultural environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills (maintenance systems experience desirable)
- Physically fit for hands-on, site-based work
Desirable:
- Experience with pumps, valves, tanks or fluid handling systems
- Welding or fabrication skills
- Forklift licence (LF)
- Exposure to hazardous materials or chemical handling environments
