If you know how to keep a busy service workshop running smoothly and take pride in delivering a great customer experience, this is a role worth your attention. Peter Warren Mercedes-Benz is looking for an experienced Service Workshop Controller to join the team at Warwick Farm.

About the role

As the central point of contact between technicians, service advisors, and customers, you will play a key part in keeping the workshop organised, efficient, and delivering results every day.

You will also:

Allocate and schedule work across the workshop to keep jobs moving and technicians productive
Monitor job progress throughout the day and step in to resolve delays before they affect customers
Work closely with service advisors to keep customers informed and expectations managed
Support quality control by reviewing completed work before vehicles are returned
Contribute to a workshop culture where safety, teamwork, and doing the job right matter
Use your experience to mentor and guide technicians, building a stronger team around you

About you

You are someone who thrives on organisation, communicates clearly under pressure, and understands what it takes to run a high-performing service operation.

More about you:

Hands-on experience in an automotive service workshop, ideally in a controller or senior advisory role
A current mechanic trade qualification or strong technical background
Confident managing workflow and priorities across a team of technicians
Clear communicator who can work well with both technical staff and customers
Comfortable using dealer management systems to track jobs and workshop output
A current Australian driver's licence
