Website and Graphic Designer

Academy of Media | Rouse Hill, Sydney | 2–3 days per week | Casual or Part Time | Immediate start

About Us

Academy of Media is a registered training organisation delivering creative and vocational qualifications across screen and media, music, dance, community services, IT and leadership. Design is not an afterthought for us — it is central to who we are and how we show up in the world.

You walk in on day one and you’re already fixing things. You don’t wait to be told. You don’t tinker. You see it, you sort it.

What you’ll do

Own and run our websites and in house brands across Squarespace, WordPress and Shopify — build, fix, improve and grow revenue
Design and produce everything — course collateral, brochures, social templates, signage, email assets
Set up the full lead capture and automation process — forms, brochure downloads, CRM connection, follow-up sequences — end to end
Build course pages that actually convert visitors into enquiries
Keep our brand sharp and consistent across every single touchpoint
Apply on-page SEO across all web content
Spot what’s broken or underperforming and fix it without being asked

What we’re looking for:

Portfolio that stops you scrolling — web, brand, print, digital
Squarespace, WordPress and Shopify — genuinely proficient, not just familiar
Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
Knows how lead capture, landing pages and automation actually work — and has built them
Obsessive about brand consistency
You don’t wait for a perfect brief — you see the problem and you solve it
You’re not here to slightly improve things — you’re here to disrupt how we look and how we convert

What success looks like in the first 30 days

Course pages are converting
Brochure downloads are fully automated — request comes in, system takes over, lead is captured
Every website is clean, current and doing its job
A consistent design system is locked in across all brands
You’ve already identified and fixed things nobody asked you to fix

Free on-site parking is available at our Rouse Hill campus.
