Position Overview:

A Dispatch & Valve Technician at Ultramax Systems, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining high standards of production. This role involves a combination of warehouse tasks and valve testing and production responsibilities, offering a diverse and engaging work experience.

The position requires someone who is self-managed and can work autonomously under remote-management.

Key Responsibilities:

Valve Technician
Assembly, testing and certification of pressure relief valves.
In-house training provided.
Adhering to strict quality management systems and third party audits.
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
Local purchasing for standard stock items.
Order Fulfilment:
Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
Counter-sales.
Trade Sales:
Assistance to our internal sales team.
Phone answering.
Trade counter sales.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct quality checks on incoming materials and finished products.
Report and address any defects or deviations from quality standards.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.
Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and staff located in branches across Australia, including logistics, quality control, and production, to achieve common goals.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Skills and experience:

Highschool diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in warehouse and/or production roles is preferred.
Ability to lift and move heave objects.
Forklift licence is preferred.
Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
Basic understanding of inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
Autonomous and self-managed.
