Bliss Nursing is looking for a professional and caring Cleaner / Domestic Assistance Worker to join our growing team and provide cleaning and household support to our NDIS participants and aged care clients.
You will be working in clients' homes and helping them maintain a clean, hygienic, organised, and comfortable living environment. Your work will contribute directly to our clients' quality of life, independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
We are looking for someone who understands that cleaning in a client's home is more than just completing a task — it is about providing a respectful, reliable, and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing high-quality domestic cleaning services in clients' homes.
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and general cleaning.
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other household spaces.
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Laundry, folding clothes, and changing bed linen where required.
- Maintaining a tidy, safe, and comfortable home environment.
- Following cleaning schedules and individual client requirements.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Respecting clients' privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal preferences.
- Reporting any maintenance, safety, or wellbeing concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Following all workplace health and safety, infection control, and organisational policies.
- Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements for Success
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous cleaning or domestic assistance experience (preferred).
- Takes pride in delivering excellent cleaning services.
- Is reliable, punctual, honest, and trustworthy.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Is respectful, compassionate, and professional when working with clients.
- Is comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can follow instructions and individual cleaning requirements.
- Understands the importance of hygiene, infection control, and workplace safety.
- Has a current National Police Check.
