Fixed Term (6 months), Full Time Opportunity
Morning shifts (06:30 AM to 03:00 PM) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and afternoon shift (11:30 AM to 08:00 PM) on Friday

An opportunity currently exists for an experienced hospitality professional to join our leading organisation in the role of Dining Room Supervisor at our Hunters Hill campus.

The Role:

The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for assisting management in the organisation’s continuing effort to deliver an outstanding service experience for our residents.

In this role, you will take ownership of a broad range of tasks and responsibilities ranging from daily food and beverage service, maintenance and presentation of our dining rooms and support and coordination of events.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

Assist in the implement service procedures for the Dining Rooms,
tray service, tea service and special events
Responsible for all dining room operating equipment –ordering,
resupply and stock taking
Maintaining correct food handling and hygiene work practices including compliance with HACCP food service standards.
Promoting the Jewish culture.

Qualifications and experience:

Previous experience in a similar supervisory role
At least 2 years restaurant/banquet experience in Australia
Relevant qualifications in hospitality is preferred

Key role requirements:

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
A true passion for customer service
Excellent team supervision ability
Immaculate grooming and personal presentation

Desirable:

Previous experience in an aged care environment including exposure to working with special dietary requirements
