We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Perth team. You will work across a diverse client base, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services while building your technical expertise alongside some of the best in the industry.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Findex. In this role, you'll work across a diverse client base, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services while building your technical expertise alongside some of the best in the industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in public practice who is looking to deepen their skills, grow their career, and make a real impact for the businesses and individuals they support.

Your role, your contribution

Deliver high-quality and efficient accounting services across a diverse client base
Assist in preparing business advice and/or tax returns, business activity statements, financial statements and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses
Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget
Assist with general bookkeeping duties
Liaise with the ATO and other Government bodies on client matters
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements

What you bring to the role

Previous business advisory accounting experience gained within public practice
CA or CPA qualification
Analytical skills and an inquisitive mindset, with a desire to deeply understand our client’s business
Strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e. Xero, MYOB)
Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team
