We are Artifex Australia, a leading Australian manufacturer of residential and commercial furniture. We are strictly wholesale and have been manufacturing and distributing our designs across Australia for over 40 years. We are one of only a few Australian manufacturers that do everything in house, from cutting foam to making bespoke metal frames, unique timber furniture, hardware, and quality upholstery finishes.
We currently have a great team of over 20 staff, and are now looking for another team member in production working as a frame maker and panel saw operator.
Based in Kelmscott Western Australia, we are seeking the services of a person willing to learn the furniture making game who may have experience with panel saws, wood machining, cabinet making, furniture making and frame making to join our team. Must take pride in their work and willing to learn the way we manufacture our furniture for a long term rewarding career.
If already experienced within the furniture industry, and looking for a change, then this maybe the role for you. We need a person who has experience or willing to learn to manufacture furniture from solid timber, put together frames, using Jarrah, plywood and MDF, ready for foaming up. someone willing to learn all aspects of furniture making, even upholstery which could lead into an apprenticeship as well.
A passion for furniture is desirable.

·38hr work week, Mon-Thur 8hrs, Fri 6hrs with potential over time.
