About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Recovery/ PACU Registered Nurses to join our clinical team on a Full-time, Casual and Part-time basis. Monday to Friday flexible roster. Occasional weekend available, no on call shifts, no overnights or public holidays.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Ensure the Day Surgery complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience as a perioperative Recovery/ PACU Registered Nurse
- Current AHPRA registration
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
- Experience in the below specialties highly desirable
