Site Supervisor – Construction & Remediation (Duratec Australia)

Duratec Australia is a specialist contractor delivering construction, remediation, and maintenance services across defence, mining, marine, and infrastructure sectors. Projects often include concrete repair, steel protection, blasting, and large-scale industrial refurbishment.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise daily construction and remediation site activities
- Lead trades including boilermakers, painters, concreters, and labourers
- Ensure compliance with WHS safety regulations and project safety plans
- Interpret drawings, scopes, and technical work instructions
- Manage site setup, materials, equipment, and workforce allocation
- Monitor productivity, quality control, and project progress
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site inductions
- Liaise with Project Engineers, Managers, and clients
- Ensure work meets specifications (blast & paint, concrete repair, structural works)
- Report daily progress, delays, and safety incidents
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in construction, civil, or remediation supervision
- Strong leadership and site coordination skills
- Knowledge of WHS, SWMS, and safety procedures
- Ability to read drawings and technical scopes
- Trade background (carpentry, concreting, steel, or painting preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
