About Us:
Carpets By Design Commercial & Domestic Flooring PTY LTD is a growing renovation and flooring business based in Osborne Park. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service to our commercial and residential clients.
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Flooring and Carpet Installers (Floor Finisher) to join our team on a full-time or casual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and measure areas to be covered to estimate quantities of floor covering materials required.
• Prepare subfloors (grinding, levelling, screeding) before installation.
• Install a wide range of flooring materials including carpet, vinyl plank, laminate, hybrid, engineered timber and other resilient flooring materials.
• Cut, fit, and install custom stair nosings, trims, and scotia.
• Sanding, staining and applying finishing coatings to timber floors.
• Uplift and dispose of existing floor coverings when required.
• Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard and leave work sites clean and tidy.
What we are looking for:
• Proven experience in carpet laying and/or hard flooring installation.
• High attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
• White Card (Construction Induction) is essential.
• Physical fitness and a reliable, punctual work ethic.
• Certificate III in Flooring Technology is highly regarded but not essential if you have at least two years experience.
