Description & Requirements

We are seeking experienced Painter/Blasters to join our team working on the Structural Integrity Project in Paraburdoo, WA on a 2:1 roster.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Prepare surfaces using abrasive blasting (including blasting materials and mechanical prep) to achieve the required finish (SA Class 2.5 and above)
Apply a variety of paint coatings and finishes to surfaces using brush and roller, spray and Airless equipment.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, meeting client specifications and industry regulations
Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our painting and surface preparation processes
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all health and safety protocols

What you’ll bring:

Trade qualifications or certificates, such as a CERT III in surface prep & Coating application ability to pass a painting VOC
Some knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and the application of a wide range of paint coatings is preferred
Working at Heights (within 3 years)
Basic Fire (within 4 years)
White Card
Australian Driver's License
Proof of Right to Work in Australia
