Kinetic Logging Services Pty Ltd is an Epiroc entity and a leading supplier of Geophysical Services in Australia, with offices in Perth, Newman and Brisbane.
We are looking for a commercially astute Business Controller to join our Geoscience Product Company within Epiroc’s Surface Division.
This is a high impact role where you will partner closely with senior leadership to drive performance, strengthen financial control, and influence strategic decision-making across the business
The Role
As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide insight, challenge, and direction to support growth and profitability.
You’ll combine strong financial expertise with commercial acumen to identify risks, uncover opportunities, and ensure the business is operating with robust financial discipline.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and Business Line Managers
- Drive financial performance across P&L and Balance Sheet at both business line and entity level
- Support decision-making through high-quality analysis, insights, and recommendations
- Ensure financial reporting and accounting practices align with group standards and local regulations
- Maintain strong internal controls and proactively identify and escalate risks
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Provide forward-looking analysis to support growth and profitability targets
- Monitor performance and implement action plans where required
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Oversee cash flow, credit control, and investment analysis
- Support audits and ensure compliance with legal and financial frameworks
About you
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and influencing outcomes.
You bring:
- 8+ years’ experience in finance or business controlling
- Experience within an industrial or international environment
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and financial planning
- A proactive mindset — confident in challenging and raising risks
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
- Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
