Salary: Level 4, $95,782 - $100,526 pa plus 12% Superannuation (PSCSAA 2024)

Location: Perth CBD

This is a fixed term, part time vacancy available for tweleve (12) months, with the possibility of transition to full time, and a possible extension for a further twelve (12) months and/or permanency subject to business requirements.

About the role

The Assistant Project Officer is responsible for undertaking and supporting projects and working collaboratively with other business areas to deliver outcomes that align with the Department’s objectives and meet Government standards. It is also required to assist with building tenant requests, maintaining registers, finance processing, record keeping and other administrative functions for the Directorate.

Other responsibilities include:

Managing the Departments leased site at 140 William Street Perth.
Representing the Directorate on various internal committees, including Occupational Safety and Health Committee, and tenant meetings.

Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
