Aftershock is looking for an energetic, hands-on Content Creator / Videographer who can create polished showcase videos as well as fast, authentic social content.
This is a high-output role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and is focused on delivering results. You will need to recognise content opportunities, move quickly and turn ideas into engaging content without waiting for detailed instructions.
You should be equally comfortable planning a professional camera shoot and pulling out your phone to capture a spontaneous moment.
What you’ll do
- Develop and produce content for products, campaigns, social media and events
- Film polished showcase videos using professional camera equipment
- Create fast, platform-native content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
- Write hooks, scripts, talking points and simple storyboards
- Identify and capture content opportunities as they happen
- Appear on camera when required
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver content to deadlines
- Use audience response and performance data to improve future content

You are:
- Creative, energetic and highly proactive
- Comfortable working at pace and producing a consistent volume of content
- Focused on outcomes, not just ideas
- Confident using both professional cameras and a phone
- Familiar with short-form video, social trends and online culture
- Comfortable suggesting ideas and taking ownership of them
- Able to produce both polished and spontaneous content
- Confident writing simple, engaging scripts
- Comfortable appearing on camera
- Genuinely interested in gaming, PCs and technology
A strong portfolio, showreel or social presence is more important to us than a specific number of years of experience.
The opportunity
This role has the potential to grow into a broader creative leadership position, with future responsibility for content planning, team coordination, creative quality and brand consistency.
Pay: $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
