We are looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Cabinet Maker Assistant to join our team in Brisbane.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in cabinet making, woodworking, joinery or construction and wants to develop practical skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople.
Previous cabinet-making experience is an advantage, but we are willing to consider applicants who have the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist cabinet makers with the preparation and assembly of cabinetry
· Measure, mark and prepare materials
· Assist with cutting, sanding, drilling and assembling components
· Safely use basic hand and power tools under appropriate supervision
· Assist with loading, unloading and moving materials
· Assist with installation and fitting of cabinetry when required
· Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe
· Follow instructions from experienced cabinet makers and supervisors
· Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
· Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude within the team
