About Smart Upgrades

Smart Upgrades provides energy-efficient solutions to Victorian homes and businesses. Our services include heating and cooling systems, solar battery storage, heat-pump hot water systems and LED lighting upgrades. We also assist customers with eligibility for government-backed energy upgrade and rebate programs.

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales and marketing activities, strengthen our market presence and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies across the company’s energy-efficient products and installation services.
Establish sales targets, lead-conversion objectives, performance measures and reporting procedures.
Analyse sales results, market trends, customer enquiries and campaign performance to identify business growth opportunities.
Develop promotional strategies for heating and cooling systems, solar batteries, heat-pump hot water systems, LED lighting and applicable rebate programs.
Plan and manage digital marketing, referral campaigns, exhibitions and other customer-acquisition activities.
Coordinate market research into customer preferences, competitor activity, pricing trends and demand for new and existing energy solutions.
Establish and maintain sales channels and referral networks with suppliers, installers, builders, property managers and industry partners.
Develop policies and procedures relating to sales, marketing, pricing, quotations, promotions, lead management and customer engagement.
Determine pricing structures, package offers, discounts and promotional campaigns based on market conditions and commercial objectives.
Lead and support the sales team in building client relationships, achieving sales targets and negotiating commercial agreements.
Monitor marketing campaigns against established performance indicators and recommend improvements where required.
Manage relationships with key customers, suppliers, installers and business partners to support customer retention and long-term growth.
Develop strategies to strengthen the company’s brand recognition and reputation within the Victorian energy-upgrade market.
Coordinate with installation and customer-support teams to ensure sales commitments, rebate requirements and project timeframes are accurately communicated.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in the occupation.
Atleast 3 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing management.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
Experience establishing sales targets and monitoring business performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management abilities.

Pay: $110,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
