We’re a leading, trusted not-for-profit organisation, and we’re proudly local to Western Australia, welcoming people in our aged care homes, retirement villages, community housing and more.

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Peel Aged Care Home.

This role is offered on a part-time basis.

The successful candidate must be available to work the following shift pattern:

Week 1: Tuesday 22:15 – 07:15

Week 2: Tuesday 22:15 – 07:15

The Role

Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, while providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
Complete assessment and / or admission requirements
Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and / or allied health staff
Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
Provide mentoring and training to employees where required

About You

Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment is an advantage, but is not essential
Ability to work independently and professionally
Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systems
Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one covid and annual flu)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
