REMA Tip Top is seeking experienced mechanical maintenance technicians to join our supportive and growing team, with opportunities to undertake work at our multiple Western Australian locations. It is a full time and permanent position.
Duties and tasks
- Maintaining and repairing conveyor belt system’s associated components including but not limited to; roller’s and frames, skirting systems, belt cleaning systems, belt tracking units, transfer chutes, and conveyor structures
- Cleaning and adjusting primary and secondary cleaners, ploughs, and water control units
- Completing conveyor safety and operational inspections
- Adhere and possess strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Job requirements
- Current Drivers Licence
- Confined Spaces ticket - within 2yrs
- Working at Heights ticket - within 2yrs
- Gas Test Atmospheres ticket - within 2yrs
- Dogging/Rigging experience (Highly regarded but not essential)
- Hold a relevant Trade Certificate or evidence of
- Have a minimum of 2 years' work experience in the field
- Work in and adhere to all OH&S Procedures and Policies as laid out by the
- Participate in safety training and meetings to ensure the workplace is always
- Have experience in working with Quality Management
- Must be a team player and takes responsibility for workflow
