Full Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the installation and delivery of large-scale onshore wind projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality turbine installation, working closely with installation and commissioning teams on site.

Key Responsibilities

Support wind turbine installation through electrical testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
Conduct pre and post-installation inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards
Provide technical advice and hands-on support to subcontractors during turbine assembly and installation
Collaborate with project and commissioning teams to deliver works in line with project schedules and budgets

About You

Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
GWO certification and White Card
Strong experience in electrical installation, testing and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation
Valid driver’s licence (AU or International)

Desirable

Wind farm or renewable energy project experience
Exposure to turbine installation or commissioning environments
Experience with NCRs, QA/QC processes and site documentation

Pay: $140,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
