We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the installation and delivery of large-scale onshore wind projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality turbine installation, working closely with installation and commissioning teams on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support wind turbine installation through electrical testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Conduct pre and post-installation inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards
- Provide technical advice and hands-on support to subcontractors during turbine assembly and installation
- Collaborate with project and commissioning teams to deliver works in line with project schedules and budgets
About You
- Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- GWO certification and White Card
- Strong experience in electrical installation, testing and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation
- Valid driver’s licence (AU or International)
Desirable
- Wind farm or renewable energy project experience
- Exposure to turbine installation or commissioning environments
- Experience with NCRs, QA/QC processes and site documentation
Pay: $140,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
