Watsonia North Preschool Inc. is a community-based Government funded parent committee run Preschool. We are looking for a part time Early Childhood Educator to join our team in 2026 who is fun, energetic and enthusiastic; who can create a stimulating and nurturing and Child-safe learning environment for our 3 year old children. The position is an ongoing part time Educator role, commencing the start of Term 1 2026.
We are seeking a permanent part time Diploma Qualified educator to work in our 3 year old group. You will be working with our experienced ECT’s and fellow educator on Tuesday and Friday. 0.5 hour for meeting, day to be confirmed. Tuesday: 7.0 - this is contact and non-contact hours Friday: 7.0 - this is contact and non-contact hours Total hours per week = 14.5 hours
Essential Criteria: A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent teaching qualifications approved by ACECQA Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF Excellent communication skills to be able to relate equally well with children and their parents/guardians Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis training and Asthma Management Training Current Working with Children Check Current Mandatory Reporting Training Team Player and keen to become part of our close knit team
