As the Events and Promotions Coordinator, you will plan, coordinate, market, and deliver a diverse range of events and promotional activities aligned with Council’s Events Strategy. You will oversee Council’s Event Control Group processes, support event approvals on Council managed land, and work closely with event organisers, contractors, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
The role also includes developing marketing campaigns, managing event budgets and resources, preparing grant and sponsorship applications, coordinating volunteers, supporting strategic reviews, and providing expert advice on event planning and delivery.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional with strong event management, marketing, stakeholder engagement, and administrative skills, along with a passion for creating memorable community experiences.

The Benefits
This position is temporary full time position from 10 August 2026 until 30 August 2027, candidates wanting to work part time hours will also be considered.
The position carries a current starting annual salary of $90,935 per annum (pro-rata), plus superannuation.
