Marist-Sion College provides a quality education in the Catholic tradition for the young people of Warragul and surrounding districts. Situated on one campus of 46 acres catering for 1100 students. About the Role

The successful applicant will be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Planning and implementing a range of teaching programs.

Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas.

Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.

Teaching an area of the curriculum to a specific year level.

Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress in key learning areas.

Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.

Implementing effective student management consistent with the College strategic plan.

Supervising a range of activities, including support and welfare programs.

Modeling exemplary classroom practice and mentoring or coaching other teachers in the College to engage in critical reflection on their practice and to support staff in expanding their capacity.

Assisting staff in using student data to inform teaching approaches that enable targets related to improving student learning outcomes to be achieved.
