The opportunity
We are in the market for an experienced administration officer. You are passionate about your profession and enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Casual Administration Officer to provide administrative support to our Health Services team. This role will primarily focus on project-related administration, including document management, data entry, record keeping, reporting support, and assisting with the delivery of key business improvement initiatives. The position is well suited to someone who is highly organised, enjoys working behind the scenes to support team outcomes, and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience using IT systems, specifically Microsoft Office applications will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 12 months previous experience in an administration assistant position.
- Well-developed organisational skills and initiative to prioritise workload and deliver timely services.
- Highly developed writing skills and computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and web-based software applications.
- Possess excellent data input skills, including speed and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to ensure effective interactions with colleagues and customers.
- Previous experience working in Local Government would be an advantage.
- Certificate III in office administration or related field would be highly regarded.
