Full Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our thriving business. We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our Functions team in our Head Office! Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer; you’ll be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality administration support for the day-to-day functioning of the laboratories within the National team.

A typical day might look like this;

Answering incoming calls and direct accordingly;
Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing post and couriers;
Photocopying, scanning and filing company documents;
Ad-hoc functional support duties such as running errands;
General housekeeping of the Office and Laboratory to ensure it is clean and presentable at all times;
Assisting with employee timesheets;
Site mobilisation and travel bookings;
Ordering and purchasing of supplies and services;
Organising and assisting with fleet maintenance activities;
Booking of local inductions and courses/licenses;
Utilising laboratory software to undertake a number of administrative laboratory tasks;
Deal with employees, clients and suppliers professionally at all times; and
Follow, as well as assisting in ensuring compliance by other employees, of all Coffey Testing policies and procedures.

About you

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have;

Strong attention to detail;
Sound verbal and written communication skills;
Able to listen and follow instructions;
Basic Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel and Word) and the ability to pick up new systems easily;
Efficient, productive, accurate and timely completion of work tasks;
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; and
Hold a valid Drivers Licence and have access to a vehicle for out of office errands, drop offs and collections.

Relevant experience in an administration role would be advantageous.
