Subcontractor — Tractor Operator & Weed Spray Technician Byscape Construction | $50–$60/hr
About the Role
Byscape Construction is looking for an experienced subcontractor for our projects based in Lancaster, Winton and Mokoan, VIC. You'll be working across two key areas — tractor operation with slashing and weed spraying via a boom spray buggy.
Immediate start preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate tractor with slasher attachment across project site
- Apply herbicide using a rear-mounted boom spray on a buggy
- Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Comply with all site WHS requirements
What You'll Need
- Demonstrated experience operating a tractor and slasher
- Experience with boom spray equipment (buggy-mounted preferred)
- ChemCert or equivalent chemical handling accreditation (advantageous)
- Valid White Card (General Construction Induction) — mandatory
- Valid ABN — this is a subcontractor engagement only
- Relevant licences and certificates of competency
- Strong awareness of WHS obligations in a field environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
