About the role

Join VMCH in a rewarding Program Coordinator role based in Wangaratta where you will lead and support the Afternoon Activities and School Holiday Programs for children with a disability.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and values-driven professional to provide leadership, coordinate high-quality services, and help shape innovative, person-centred programs.

This position is full time Monday to Friday; flexible commencement times but you must be available until 6.00pm every day.

About you

You will be experienced working with children with a disability to provide activities that are engaging for the participants.

Experience in coordinating disability, respite, community or related human services programs.
Certificate IV Disability or similar, experience in an education highly regarded.
Strong leadership, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
Sound knowledge of the disability sector, including NDIS, relevant legislation and current best practice.
Well-developed communication, problem-solving and complaint resolution skills.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Current First Aid and CPR certificate and a valid Victorian Driver License.
