Full Job Description

Introduction:
ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. Enjoy a short two-hour flight direct to our well-equipped camp and mining operation - only a five-minute drive from Woodie airport.

Description:
Reporting to the Team Leader the successful applicants will be required to:

Operate equipment safely in line with ConsMin policies and procedures as well as advocating safe working practices in your crew
Operate rigid haul trucks, predominantly CAT 777F/G and CAT 789's
Be self-motivated and contribute to the team culture by expressing a positive attitude towards a long-term career in open pit mining
Show high levels of teamwork by liaising with other mining personnel to ensure ConsMin achieve production targets

To be successful in this role you will have:

Minimum valid C Class Driver’s License
National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
The right to work in Australia (Perm resident or Citizen)
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience operating the above machinery in an open pit production mining environment
Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
Strong communication skills
