Casual Drivers Required for Local Pick-up and Deliveries (Perth Metro)

DEPOT LOCATION: Wangara WA

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-driven Courier driver with a Manual Car Licence on a casual basis to work within food service distribution. You will be required to work weekday, early morning and on call with a rotating roster. This position would ideally suit a university student or someone studying parttime. We can fit the roster around availability.

Responsibilities

Pick-up and deliver orders to customers in timely manner.
Perform tasks according to safety procedures.
Good geographical knowledge of the Perth area is an advantage. The ability to work with a sense of urgency and to deliver excellent customer service is important.

Criteria

A full Manual Car Licence with good driving record
Good communication and customer service skills
Must have own smart phone, with proficient knowledge of use
Fast learner and ability to work under pressure
Availability to work outside regular hours - usually 6am starts
A team player
Good attention to details
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Well organised and punctual
Provide or be prepared to undertake a National Police Clearance Certificate.
Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including a drug test
Employment References
Knowledge of Basic Fatigue Management
A positive and "can do attitude"
Professional and focused at all times
Reliability
Exceptional Work Ethic
Must be able to work on call
