We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineering Draftsperson to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about electrical design and drafting and is looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineering Draftsperson, you will be responsible for:

Preparing electrical drawings in accordance with project specifications and design requirements.
Interpreting and applying electrical design standards, specifications, and layouts provided by Electrical Engineers and Senior Drafters.
Modifying and updating existing drawings based on feedback, instructions, and project requirements.
Liaising with suppliers, wholesalers, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and assist with estimating material quantities and costs.
Collaborating closely with Electrical Engineers, Technicians, and Project Teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of electrical drawings and plans.
Ensuring all drawings comply with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant Australian Standards.
Maintaining accurate drawing registers, revision records, and document control systems.
Producing and updating technical documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
Providing general drafting support, including plotting, printing, archiving, and document management.
Assisting in the preparation and completion of as-built drawings upon project completion.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
A strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices.
A current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Essential Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Electrical Draftsperson, Electrical Designer, or in a similar role.
Proficiency in 2D drafting and drawing production.
Experience preparing detailed electrical drawings from scopes of work, design specifications, and functional descriptions, preferably within heavy industrial or process plant environments.
Strong AutoCAD skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
