Full Job Description

** Please note - this role is exceptionally important to our business and we are looking for someone enthusiastic who likes helping people to fill the role. If you are passionate about this role, please ensure you include a cover letter stating why you would enjoy this job and how your personality traits make you a good fit our clinic.

We are currently looking for a part-time/casual receptionist at Fix It Physiotherapy. The successful candidate is likely to work 2-4 shifts/week and ideally be available for occasional extra shifts to cover sick leave and other unavailabilities. Shift times are 8am - 1pm and 1pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday 8.30am - 1pm.

Who are we looking for?

We pride ourselves on excellence in everything we do, and the front desk is no exception. Our receptionists are charismatic and welcoming, they enjoy chatting to people in a positive way but also manage to stay efficient and get tasks done. They apply common sense and problem solving to their daily tasks, but aren't afraid to ask for help if things get tricky. They have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are well organised. As well as being friendly and welcoming, we need our receptionists to be confident enough to stand up for the business in the rare occasions where there are misunderstandings or conflicts.

Essentially, we are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with others and gets satisfaction from helping people, and is also very organised and efficient with admin type tasks.

Specific duties include:
* Booking appointments for new and returning clients
* Taking payments and accurately recording payment details
* Providing a warm welcome to current and potential clients, both on the phone and in person
* Data entry into spreadsheets
* Scanning, shredding, faxing/emailing etc.
* Basic housekeeping
* Taking ownership of the clinic's needs and working within a team framework to ensure all tasks and processes are done to an excellent standard

We have a lighthearted workplace that is fun to work in. The pace of the clinic is quite fast but is easily managed if you are organised and energetic. We have regular social events and are very appreciative of the efforts our receptionists put in. Everyone who works here feels part of a great team where their skills and effort are appreciated.
