Full Job Description

About the role

Join a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and 2026 Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our Midalia Steel business.

Reporting to the Branch Manager and based at our Wagin branch, you'll be responsible for picking, loading, and preparing orders for dispatch while helping keep the warehouse safe and running smoothly.

What you will be doing:

Work as part of a small team
Pick, load, and dispatch customer orders
Manage and move stock
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
Follow safe work practices at all times

Working hours are between 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Base rate is $35 per hour.

What you will bring:

A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
Customer‑focused, reliable and able to work well as part of a team
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required – full training will be provided

A forklift licence is an advantage but not essential

This role is ideal for candidates who are starting their career or looking to learn new skills.
