About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 (CNC1) to join the Aged and Related Care team at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse leader who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment and is passionate about improving care for older people.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Extensive clinical experience in aged care, rehabilitation, chronic and complex care, or related specialties
Strong leadership and consultancy skills with the ability to influence and support best practice care
Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and service innovation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams
Experience supporting education, mentoring, and capability development of nursing staff
Ability to contribute to strategic service planning and clinical practice development
Essential Criteria
Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum 5 years full-time equivalent post registration experience with approved post registration qualifications relevant to the specialty or equivalent experience deemed appropriate
Current NSW Working with Children Check
